God has blessed me with a father who showed me the ins and outs of how to run a used equipment business from the ground up. I had the privilege of seeing the things he did which were fruitful and also the things he did which are best avoided. I grew up around heavy equipment; it was my playground as a young boy; as unusual as this may sound, the smell of diesel is one of my favourite.
I have had the privilege all these years with wonderful employment opportunities which mentored me, refined me, taught me and blessed me with many many memorable interactions with people. Working with people is what makes this business interesting. You realize, people are God's hands and feet and He is directing our steps as much as we will let Him. He has His hand in all things, working them for His purposes which are always good.
The best companies I worked with were the ones which made people a priority. Those are the footsteps I want to follow in; putting people first. God puts us first. And He asks us to put people first. Its very plain.
When we decided to take the leap of faith required to go into business for ourselves, we wanted to ensure that we provided that personal touch, giving our very best to every customer we have the privilege of serving, treating people with honour and dignity, care and love.
